Master Lease Agreement
- The Master Lease Agreement is to be read and signed by
both the lessee and the lessor prior to any movements.
- 1 Master Lease identifying both the tractor and trailer
is recommended for the owner-operator furnishing the same
trailer at all times. For tractors pulling various
trailers, a Master Lease for each tractor is recommended
with the use of the Master Equipment Listing, identifying
all trailers and is to be attached to the Master Lease.
- The Lessee Trip Authorization is to be kept at the motor
carrier's office.
- The Lessor Trip Authorization is to be kept with the
equipment identified in the Master Lease. Both forms are
to be completed at the time the Master Lease is verbally
activated.
- A trip using this Master Lease system can be completed in
5 steps.
